SUMMARY

We have learned that for reasons entirely beyond his control, Charles Beer has had to postpone the Ottawa Public Forum for his review of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. The new date for the Ottawa Public Forum is/ November 4, 2009. Below we set out his revised schedule for his other public forums around Ontario. Please be sure to attend the Charles Beer Public Forum nearest to you.

On a somewhat related note, a community advocate for accessibility for persons with disabilities is now conducting an EXCELLENT on-line poll on whether you think Ontario is now on schedule to achieve full accessibility for persons with disabilities by 2025, as the AODA requires.
